In a town some years ago
she ws once called Floreence Lowe.
Raising hell and having fun
was just her way of life.
So she opened up a Rancho
where the patrons called her Poncho.

In the golden days of flying,
in the face of death and dying,
the lady took her place
among the best in the land.
She made having fun so real
from Muroc to Cantil.

From the bases of our Nationl,
through the gates at Edward Station,
they came to see the lady -
and talk with old friends.
They sang and drank, and boasted;
no event was left untoasted -

At her Rancho Oro Verde
every day was just a fun day.
To some it was just a "Happy Bottom Riding Club".
So they came from many places to play at that oasis -
