Ashley Cleveland, nascida em fevereiro de 1957 na cidade de Knoxville, Tennesseé é uma cantora americana e compositora, talvez mais conhecida por ser nomeada para o grammy de musica gospel 3 vezes e ganhar as tres: Uma em 1996 pelo album Lesson of Love outra em 1999 pelo You Are There e em 2008 pelo album Before the Daylight's Shot. Ela se casou com Kenny Greenberg em 27 de abril de 1991 e tem tres filhos.
Ashley como parte da banda de john hiatt também apareceu diversas vezes na televisão, incluindo: Austin City Limits, Late Night with David Letterman, The Arsenio Hall Show and Saturday Night Live.
