I too, once was niave,

Many would attest to aim for the stars,
and then if you fail, at least you're among them.
But I disagree,
we are capped by our abilities.

you can't dispute aptitude.

It is taught from the cradle on up
that anyone, can become anything.
Well if that's true, those not at the top
would have little excuse.

yeah I tried and I tried
so many years to keep hanging on,
but then she knew it,
she saw through it,
she abused it.

Face the facts a good attitude can make you more capable,
